Masterpiece by Elise Broach is a story about a beetle named Marvin, who lives under the sink in an apartment where James lives. After creating a piece of art that is found by James, Marvin befriends the lonely boy. Before they know it, the pair embarks on an adventure and become involved in the art heist of the century.
This book is an amazing book, one of the best I’ve ever read! The book is probably best for kids on a 4th-7th grade reading level. The book has adventure, suspense, and unexpected surprises.

I LOVED the book Masterpiece! So much, that we’re going to read it every year with the 5th graders at FCA! What a great blog you have created, Audrey. It’s so professional, user-friendly, and a great resource to readers! You are brilliant!
Thanks Mrs. Hayes! You are the best Language Arts teacher EVER!
This book was ok , but it needed a little more action. Audrey , your blog is amazing!!!!!!
I actually thought it had enough action for more than one book! And thank you!
Masterpiece sounds really cool I want to read it (I want to read every book you put out)
Haha! Yeah, this is one of my favorite books. You should get it!
MAN I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was so cute and had a lot of action (which I like). The only thing I didn’t like was that Marvin’s secret never got out.
